If England are doing well in the World Cup or something extraordinary is happening in the World like 9 11, the July 7 London Bombings etc then the chances are the media wont be interested in your press release regardless of how well it is written or what it says. The good news for businesses like yours is that the media often find themselves (particularly during certain times of the year) with not enough newsworthy material in which to fill their air time, newspaper, magazine or website.

By remembering this and whenever possible tailoring your press activity to the quieter times you have a much higher chance of your PR activity being successful. The Honda Fit Hybrid - A Car of Mythic Proportions

Tuesday 21 October 2008

As of this writing the long rumored Honda Hybrid vehicle seems to still be a myth at best. In , there has been no official announcement from Honda. However, it does appear that Honda will be releasing a new hybrid to replace the . Will this be a hybrid? Nobody but Honda really knows for sure. Does it really matter? In my opinion, no. is that I believe that Honda will release a respectable replacement for the in the next year or two.

Whether to call it a , or something else really does not matter. This new vehicle will still serve the intended purpose of the model that it is replacing. To me, that is the only really important thing. There was a great going last year about the hybrid being introduced in 2008 or 2009, but that is all it was, . It is very likely that this new hybrid will be priced well below the Civic. This will open up great opportunities for a while new class of that would not normally look at hybrid technology.

Honda covers the hybrid very well. The and the coming replacement compete (and will continue to compete) well against the Toyota Prius. The Civic is a great looking, powerful car that is very affordable to many that cannot afford the more expensive hybrid . Last but not least is the Accord hybrid is neck and next with the Toyota Camry, two of the best selling around in their standard versions.

Two areas where Honda seems to be lacking is in the availability of a truck or SUV hybrid. I think that the fact that Honda is concentrating on the subcompacts, compacts and full size sedans is a great thing. The advances they have made in technology have been wonderful. Let Honda be the first to have a truly great hybrid lineup first, then go after the smaller other .

In closing, to those waiting for a Honda Hybrid, do not hold your breath. But all is not , there should be a comparable model available real soon now that should more than satisfy your needs.

Golf course fronting estates became popular in the 1980s, and have since become a common feature of suburban America. Of course (pun intended), not all homes are right on the green. There will be lovely homes across the street and within a few blocks of the actual course which still offer the of the close proximity to the course and the great , but without the of stray balls and trespassing . Although there’s always a trade-off , as the views aren’t likely to be as lush in these homes.

If you do purchase golf-front property, look for policies that give a good for unlimited window replacement. In general, knowing the risks of an area makes you responsible for any damage done, however, some clubs have been forced to pay for , or erect safety fences or nets in extreme . A responsible course developer should take the risks into , and minimize them throughout the design of the course. If specific course features make your consistently a dangerous area, or if the course was redesigned after your was built, putting it more at , consider requesting help from the course owners to minimize your . However, if the stray balls are purely accidental, accept the and pay for good . Buying a behind a green, or right next to a tee box, as opposed to a few yards up from it, may allow you to avoid the highest of having your visited by stray balls. Further, there is some evidence that homes on the right side of the fairway are more often hit by erroneously sliced balls.

When weighing the pros and cons of a golf community, consider association fees, and also rules and regulations associated with living there. Also, assuming you’re a golf-lover, be sure you the course-otherwise you miss out on the of living so close.
